Koa Yokota is a versatile and inspiring surfer who perfectly embodies the T&C spirit .
He is passionate about surfing, skateboarding, nature, music ... to name just a few of his passions.

With a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Hawaii (UH), Koa is deeply interested in our relationship as humans with the planet .
Born and raised on a fruit farm in Waimanalo , he is very aware of the impact our food has on Mother Earth .
It takes concrete action through the family farm, supplying local farmers' markets with their own fruit harvests .

From the earth to the stage

Koa is also a musician : he is the singer and guitarist in the group The Fungi Queens .
The formation of the group happened naturally, bringing together friends around a common passion for music .
Today, they play live again and share their energy as soon as health conditions allow.

A unique surfing style, between old school and modernity

On the surf side, Koa has an incredible style , fluid and stylish.
He particularly likes twin fins and single fins , for their speed and natural flow , which he combines with a resolutely modern and committed approach .

Always looking for new sensations, Koa collaborates with our shapers Makani McDonald and Glenn Pang to develop new models that push the boundaries of design… while respecting the essence of surfing.
