A rising star from Curaçao

Hailing from Willemstad, on the island of Curaçao, Tiara van der Huls embodies the new generation of European women's surfing. Born on July 28, 2006, this 18-year-old surfer quickly gained attention with her fluid and committed style. Despite her recent debut on the professional circuit, she has already demonstrated impressive maturity in her performances.

Steady progress on the WSL circuit

Since her debut in 2022 on the WSL Junior circuit, Tiara has continued to progress. In 2024, she reached 21st place in the Women's Qualifying Series, including a 9th place at the Caraïbos Lacanau Pro and a 13th place at the Rip Curl Pro Anglet. Recently, she stood out by finishing 5th at the last QS in Caparica. This progression on the world stage speaks volumes about Tiara.

A significant victory at the Maïder Arosteguy 2025

At the 41st edition of the Maïder Arosteguy, held from April 17 to 21, 2025 in Biarritz, Tiara put in an exceptional performance. An alliance of heart and style with T&C Surf Designs

The meeting between Tiara van der Huls and Town & Country Surf Designs was not the result of chance, but of a clear alchemy. This partnership was born from a shared vision of surfing: that of a demanding sport, where performance cannot exist without passion.

Tiara perfectly embodies T&C's DNA: committed, elegant, and authentic surfing. Its ability to combine technicality, fluidity, and personal expression on the wave perfectly matches the spirit the brand has cultivated since its beginnings in Hawaii.

With her, the T&C team not only gains a promising athlete , but a shining ambassador of its identity. Together, they share the same mission: to inspire the new generation of surfers through a lifestyle deeply rooted in nature, respect and self-improvement.
